It's now a turkey free World... Millions of them are in the oven as i write!!! If you like turkey, good for you, if you don't, good for you too.
For those who doesn't have family to celebrate with, or if you're stuck in the City, if you just don't want to celebrate, WE ARE OPEN TONIGHT.

The origin of Thanksgiving brings some kind of Historical dispute. Nothing crazy though, just details. Hopefully, it will not bring us another St Barthelemy, thank God people agreed on one day to gather and feast, to celebrate the memory of the end of harsh days when Indians taught the pilgrims to survive by growing food. That was a good introduction from the Indians to the very same people who would kick their ass later on!!!

Anyway, they're no new wines this week due to dead birds. But nothing to worry about, we have plenty of others. Tonight, I can see myself sitting @ the bar, munching on some oysters, lamb prosciutto, beef stew if the weather gets cold, some cheese (crazy about Dunmore lately) and definitely a couple orders of octopus!!! There's 1 bottle of Plou-Plou left, and she will be mine tonight!!! nothing better to start, then I'm thinking about a bottle of Morgon Vieilles Vignes 08 from Jean-paul Thevenet (I cheated, I took one from the case dedicated to Beaujolais Week-End). By then I'm sure I'll have a couple people joining my party so it'll be time to crack a magnum of Crozes-Hermitage 07 Dard & Ribo. From there, who knows where it's gonna go???

I will report live from this event, may be I'll Tweet. I'll do anything to bring you the finest. Pascal Potaire among 19 other winemakers will be there. Quiet a few that we are already happy and proud to have here in New-York. Some other might be unknown to you, and Pascal Potaire is one of them. His wines are very  joyful like his Menu-Pineau, and I promise I'll have a bucket of it by the end of next week-end.

I forgot, we got new wines but they're just off the boat so we gonna give them @ least a couple weeks to rest. I'm talking about the Pinot Noir 08 and Riesling 08 from the Binner's. Another good news, a few bottles of "MMVII" will be arriving in January.

And don't forget that the headache the day after, it's not because of the wine but because of the damn Calvados!!!
