Right now, I'm in nice house somewhere in Jersey, surrounded by the woods with the sun on my face watching butterflies and flying bugs passing by, admiring M hanging around as I'm listening to some great soul-funky-groovy music. Gonna go roll on the grass with M, be right back!!!

That was a good session. Back to the countryside part, lately I'm thinking of a cabin in the woods, upstate. Just 4 walls and a roof to nap back from bird & mushroom hunting.

unfortunately, the bird hunting wasn't as successful as expected!!! So for Sunday Night Delicacies, Eric will fix you up with his round and delicious ALBONDIGAS DE POLLO. Next Sunday, we'll get back to our pork fantasy with our (@ least my) favorite : ROASTED SUCKLING PIG!

Harvesting season started about a couple weeks ago in France. Stuck in New-York for family reasons, I sent Jorge, my traveling partner, to investigate. After a short but intensive research in different vineyards, it seems that things were going pretty well in the Languedoc. Beautiful grapes, perfectly ripe and very good sanitary conditions. Mother nature has done her job, from now on, it's all in the hand of devoted winemaker / alchemist. So be it!!!

After a 5 hour lunch, a glass of cold Preambulles from Patrice Lescaret makes me feel fresh again. Great dry bubble with apple, pear, honey mouth and an herbal touch like camomille.

Don't forget as well, if the weather's with us, the street fair on Arthur Avenue on the Bronx from noon to 7.00 p.m if I have good memory. The real Italian fair with real food cooking all over the street like suckling pigs and real homemade sausages... see ya there before Oyster Happy Hour!!!

Before I forget, Wednesday starting around 5ish, Morgane Fleury from Champagnes Fleury, one of the pioneer in biodynamic practices in the Champagne Region, will present a few cuvees newly imported in the U.S. Bubble amateurs, save the date!!!
